The Counseling Company was founded in 2023 with a vision to create something more than just an office space. After beginning her private practice in 2021 to meet the needs of teenage girls in the Lubbock community, founder Branda Bartley, saw a greater opportunity: to build a place where counselors could grow, belong, and do their best work while clients felt safe, supported, and at home.

What began as one counselor’s dream quickly grew into a collective. Today, The Counseling Company is home to seven private practices, each counselor bringing their own specialties and passions ranging from anxiety, depression, trauma, and EMDR to chronic illness and symptoms, couples, families, children, teens, college students, and more. This variety allows The Counseling Company to serve a wide and diverse community with care tailored to each individual’s needs.

More than a building, The Counseling Company is a warm and cozy space tucked quietly among juniper trees and West Texas light. Designed to feel safe, welcoming, and comfortable, it’s a place where clients can be themselves and where counselors find encouragement and community. Each member of the team operates independently, but all share one purpose: to create an environment where people can heal, grow, and thrive.
