About Amelia 

Amelia Ancell, LMFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience serving the Lubbock community. Her passion and expertise lie in working with adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced trauma.

In the early stages of therapy, Amelia focuses on building a strong therapeutic foundation rooted in trust and connection. Her approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) and emotion-focused modalities, and she is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Through Take Flight Counseling, Amelia strives to provide a safe and supportive space where individuals and families can work through challenges, experience healing, and move toward growth and wholeness.
