Gerianne Ontiveros is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in Texas and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Mexico. She is passionate about helping adults navigate seasons of struggle, processing, and healing. Her counseling work focuses on trauma recovery, emotional regulation, identity development, and relationship stability.

 

Gerianne earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Social Work from Eastern New Mexico University in 2016 and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and has completed additional training in Marriage Counseling through the Gottman Institute.

 

In her practice, Gerianne uses an integrative approach that includes Person-Centered, Strength-Based, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Trauma-Focused therapies. When requested, she thoughtfully incorporates faith into the counseling process. Her goal is to help clients build emotional and cognitive resilience so they can move toward freedom, confidence, and genuine connection in their lives.

 

Gerianne sees clients both in person and online in Texas and New Mexico. She is honored to walk alongside those seeking hope and healing as they move through life’s seasons of change and growth.
