About Branda
Branda Bartley, M.S., LPC, is the founder of The Counseling Company in Lubbock, Texas. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies from Texas Tech University, followed by a Master’s degree in Counseling from Lubbock Christian University.

Before opening her private practice, Branda spent more than eight years as a detention therapist at the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center. That role was foundational in shaping her professionally and personally, providing invaluable experience and growth while working closely with teenagers.

In 2021, Branda launched her private practice with a focus on teenage girls, later expanding in 2022 to also work with college-aged women. Today, her practice continues to center on high school and college-aged girls; the population she feels most called to serve.
Branda’s approach to counseling is warm and relational, rooted in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the healing process. She primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy, helping clients shift unhelpful thought patterns, and reality therapy, encouraging reflection on how choices impact daily life. Her goal is to create a space where young women feel seen, supported, and free to grow into the best version of themselves.
